In the long run, these types of laws will harm Israel and cut off good will and support. One wonders if the laws are actually being pushed and passed to create backlash.
Read the history of Mohammad. Muslims are taught that Mohammad was perfect and not to be criticized. This legislation is attempting to create the same level of jihad that Muslims believe.

Anyone not agreeing with Mohammad is persecuting. The question is whether anyone charged with violating these new laws are Muslims or some other goyim. Which of these two protected religious groups will be involved in litigation? Likely only seculars and Christians will be charged with antisemitism.
It’s normal to go after the Christians. Only the Chinese go after the Muslims. Most others are afraid.
For example, Colorado and Washington go after the Christian businesses but not Muslim businesses for refusing to endorse gay marriage. Islam doesn’t teach to turn the other cheek.
But the issue at hand is unconstitutionally enforcing Zionism, which is a political system, not a religion.
Did not know this law was passed. Free Speech exists for a damn good reason. If someone wants to be an a-hole to Jews or Catholics or Muslims or women or gays, we call him out. We maybe boycott his/her store, his/her X site. We maybe block him/her. At an extreme, your employer might fire you, if your views are bad for business.
But the First Amendment says that it is never a legal issue in America. Anyone who argues otherwise is clueless about our Constitution and what America means.

Simple reason why this is necessary: Because NO ONE is saying Qatar doesn't have a right to exist. NO ONE is saying Iraq doesn't have a right to exist. NO ONE is saying France doesn't have a right to exist. or Italy, Uganda, or 150 other countries. These are a few of those calling for destruction of Israel:"ArabAmerican Anti-Discrimination Committee, "Democratic Socialists of America, Communist Party of the US, Code Pink, etc, etc. etc, The law should not prevent INDIVIDUALS from calling for mass murder, but public institutions shouldn't be permitted to do that.
"From the river to the sea" is just another way of saying "kill the Jews." Shame on Chrisopher Brunet.
All of that is probably true, but is irrelevant. Banning speech-- even if the speech is hateful, stupid, outrageous, controversial, or maddening-- is inconsistent with the first amendment. The government should not be permitted to regulate your speech. No more needs to be said.

I don’t really have strong feelings one way or another about Jews, and a very pragmatic view of Israeli-US relations. Laws like this will very strongly reenforce Jews as bogeymen in basically every respect. Just wait for the trials of random students for repeating the fact that Jews have always dominated Hollywood.

But these laws DO prevent individuals from even criticizing the Israeli govt. You completely missed the point due to your bias.
