Helen Grus’ GiveSendGo campaign was sitting at an anemic $13,595.
The campaign was essentially inactive, with the last donation coming 12 days ago:
But since my article went viral on X today… the GiveSendGo is now at $30,025!
$30,025 - $13,595 = an additional $16,430
It still isn’t enough, though.
Detective Grus has already personally covered over $40,000 in legal fees, a figure that could easily exceed $100,000 depending on how long this case drags on.
