Great work!

Amazing work. I am both disgusted and yet not at all surprised by this behaviour. I never saw anything as bad while doing my PhD, but it’s the logical moral nadir of the “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” attitude that’s so ubiquitous within academia.

Outstanding article. Crucial to act to keep publication integrity. Stay relentless, Mr. Brunet. Shared to X where it will get some interest and for a laugh, anonymously, to Bsky. (They seem to be largely propaganda bots there but I'll add my thumb to the dike.) Spouse is in the sciences and he has seen the integrity decline over the decades; very hard to fight and he has had his own un-collegiality battles. Your carefully documented and supported work is appreciated

Great piece Chris, really well researched with clear timestamps and evidence. Real evidence to share. Why do you think Elsevier haven't responded, or Professor Goodell? Real damming evidence, especially Dr DU's ridiculous number of papers in RIBAF. They need retracted

I've emailed dozens of journals and 70% of the time they just don't respond no matter what, they would probably respond if I worked for Reuters or Bloomberg, but since I am not mainstream they feel comfortable ignoring me

15% of the time they say "we're looking into it"

15% of the time they say "we took XYZ action"

Goodell didn't respond because he is guilty

I clicked on something I knew about, crapto volatility:

This is a laughably insane paper. I don't know how to convey how laughably stupid it is, something along the lines of "the price of butter in Bangladesh predicts the S&P500."

Don't describe the University of Akron as "a terrible school." It's not brimming with geniuses, but on the other hand, I doubt they hate Jews as much as in the Ivy League.
