Back in 2022, when almost nobody was paying attention to Lisa Cook, I obtained her tenure packet through a FOIA request and published it. At the time, the story barely registered. That post got just 19 likes.
Fast forward to 2025. Lisa Cook is now the number one story in America, with the entire media, both mainstream and alternative, finally paying attention.
Two days ago, I republished the same tenure packet that everyone ignored three years ago. This time, it exploded: 16,000+ likes and nearly 700,000 views.
After that went viral, I joined Carl Higbie on Newsmax to break down Lisa Cook’s tenure packet and explain why her rise to the Fed is such a scandal. That interview is already closing in on 200,000 views on YouTube.
For me, that appearance was a milestone. If you’ve been a subscriber for a while, you know that public speaking has always been my Achilles heel — I used to stutter, freeze, panic, and even turn down big interview opportunities out of fear.
But speaking live to Carl’s half a million viewers (imagine five packed football stadiums), I was calmer, clearer, and more confident than ever before. Well, relatively clear and confident. I still have verbal tics, and trouble making eye contact with the camera, but I made my points, spoke in full sentences, wasn’t nervous, and came across coherently. That’s a win in my books, and I am happy with my progress. I just need to keep practicing.
After that Newsmax interview, yesterday, Megyn Kelly and Ben Shapiro featured my reporting. They talk about me at the 4:00 mark of this clip:
It’s rewarding to see a story I’ve been working on for so long finally breaking through. Now that the country is finally paying attention, here’s the FOIA’d tenure packet that started it all, please download and share it so people can see for themselves why Cook’s rise is such a scandal, and why her downfall was so predictable.
Congrats on improving your speaking skills. It is difficult to address large audiences…probably a learned skill for most. The first time I spoke in front of a large audience (400 or more) I opened with that I will turn red and look like I an having a heart attack…it broke my stress and eased the rest of my presentation. Good luck to you on continuing to improve your skill set.
Great work Chris and congrats on all your success. As far as public speaking, I can relate via music. It's a well-known phenomenon among musicians that performing material that is mastered at home, suddenly becomes a struggle in front of others. The only solution is continuing to play out, so don't give up.
