Join Me in Washington, D.C. on March 19th — Discount Code for Readers
Use the code BRUNET at checkout to save $100
The past 50 straight issues of this newsletter have been free.
I try to avoid paywalls whenever possible. If I write something valuable, I want as many people as possible to read it. As a result, only about 2% of my readership is paid. If I went paywalled I could easily raise that number to the 5%-10% range, but that is something I am really trying to avoid.
So, please indulge me in one sponsored post, to keep this newsletter free.
On March 19th, 2026, I’ll be attending the Catholic Prayer for America Gala in Washington, D.C. Tickets are pricey, but the organizers gave me a $100 discount code for readers. If you use code BRUNET at checkout, you’ll get the discount.
Tickets here:
And please follow Catholics for Catholics, host of the event, on X:
I am not speaking at the event, I am just going to be wandering around in a snazzy tuxedo. The event is being held at the Waldorf Astoria, the swankiest hotel in D.C.
The speakers are Candace Owens, Matt Walsh, Gen. Michael Flynn, Fr. Chris Alar, John Yep, and Sister Dede Byrne.
The program will also include an award presented to Carrie Prejean Boller following her dismissal from the White House’s Religious Liberty Commission.
Since I will be in D.C. for the 18th, 19th, or 20th, if you want to grab a beer, please email me and I will try my best to make it happen. If enough people are interested maybe we can have a meetup dinner on the 18th.

I’m down for a group dinner!
I deeply appreciate every free article you post. For a while now I’m spiraling from one financial crisis to another, I’m running on fumes of fumes. If I could, I would happily be a paid subscriber because you are quite deserving.
