Once you are all zipped up, you either have no mosquitos in the tent, or if you do you take care of them before going to sleep. Also, trapped mosquitos do not bite. So the whole thing makes no sense whatsoever.
But I agree with them that this is ultimately the fault of the federal government. A permanent ban on all immigration from India would allow sentiments to cool down.
That's already been done in some academic literature. I'm pretty certain whatever remake/reboot that will take place will have a storyline of her "discovering" her First Nations heritage.
Cultural gatekeepers are determined to undermine and rewrite *any* narrative they deem non-diverse, "colonialist" or whatever the term-of-the-week is that essentially states: "too white".
That's why as a librarian I always tell people to find and keep original hard-copy texts as much as possible.

somewhat relatedly, has anyone looked at road/driving incidents to see if those have increased solely because of indian immigration? would be interesting to see
